Drennan, Beckett, Redmond T
WRITTEN BY CONALL. POSTED IN BLUES'N'JAZZ, HOME PAGE, MUSIC, WHAT'S ON THIS MONTH, WHAT'S ON THIS WEEK
Often mentioned as Ireland’s greatest jazz export after Louis Stewart, Darren has played and performed with some of the greats of the jazz and music world. HIgh profile artists he is currently playing behind are Brandon Flowers of The Killers, French pop/movie composer Émilie Simon and for the last 10 years, Madelaine Peyroux. Just looking at his Website gives you an indication of some of the prodigious people and places he is associated with.
Appearing with Darren is Brighton based pianist Myles Drennan as well as Dublin based bass player Dave Redmond. With super tight arrangements and interplay on classic standards, this show is not to be missed.
9.30 entry Free!
