Tonight Saturday 19th. Listen at Arthurs Thomas Street Dublin 8. we have another spring cleaning for the ears with Jazz and Soul infused Songs, Piano Minatures, Bach and Ysaye and Art History.

Co. Clare singer and guitarist SÍOMHA will be performing her beautifully crafted jazz and soul infused songs. Violinist Aoife Ní Bhriain will be performing poinient works for solo Violin by Bach and Ysaye. Peter Moran will be performing his impressionistic collection of 'Dublin Minitures' for solo Piano and to top it all off, we will have a Talk on Art History relating to Schoenberg by art historian Jessica Fahy

This night of eclectic music and spoken word is kindly supported, in their infinite wisdom, by Music Network

New Ross Piano Festival has added a Jazz piano day, curated by Phil Ware. Phil and his bassist Damian Evans will give a lunchtime concert at 1.05 performing selections from the works of famous jazz composers and the Great American Songbook.

Enrico Pieranunzi is flying in from Italy to perform at 8.

Always telling the story no matter which language he uses – classical or jazz.

He and Phil will be having a pre-concert public chat about life as jazz pianists at 7pm in the same venue - St Mary's Church, in New Ross, Co Wexford. Up until now the New Ross Piano Festival has been purely classical and has an international following. In this, its 12th year, it is spreading its wings and looking forward to welcoming jazz enthusiasts from all over Ireland to what promises to be an exciting additional venture.
