This month at Listen at Arthurs we have another spring cleaning for the ears with Jazz and Soul infused Songs, Piano Minatures, Bach and Ysaye for Violin and Art History.

Co. Clare singer and guitarist SÍOMHA will be performing her beautifully crafted jazz and soul infused songs. Violinist Aoife Ní Bhriain will be performing poinient works for solo Violin by Bach and Ysaye. Peter Moran will be performing his impressionistic collection of 'Dublin Minitures' for solo Piano and to top it all off, we will have a Talk on Art History relating to Schoenberg by art historian Jessica Fahy

TOMMY HALFERTY ENSEMBLE - CAMUS JAZZ - The Abbey Tavern - 3:30pm
A very special premiere concert devised and written by Irish jazz guitar legend, Tommy Halferty, featuring 10 musicians with an ambitious suite of material focused on the works of internationally renowned French philosopher and author Albert Camus. DANIEL RORKE TRIO - O'Connell's (Pier House) - 8:30pm
Saxophonist and Irish/Australian dual citizen Daniel Rorke has been called a "heavyweight" by the Norwegian Jazz magazine Jazznytt. However, he promises that since that article was written he has been on a strict diet and will be presenting a set of lean, original and compelling modern Jazz music with his trio of Matthew Jacobson on drums and Cormac O'Brien on bass.
